Quick and easy. No more wondering spark
It was as easy as removing the points and fitting in its place. Slide the collar into place and put back together. I think it took me longer to find a piece of wire to run for the power than installing the kit. Actually, if the cables were longer on the kit, then could have reached right to the coil. Started the engine and set the timing with a timing light, pleased to see the timing no longer wonders around due to worn points or condenser.

Not the best unit for my beetle
My first electronic ignition unit lasted a month and the accuspark coil failed after that. Purchased another accuspark electronic ignition and laster around 15 seconds and failed again with brand new coil. I'm going with petronix ignition system
