    Good quality earbuds

Good quality earbuds that stay in your ear with good battery playtime but the touch controls take a little getting used too (after 1 week). Also the "Be Aware" feature is handy for picking up surrounding noise.

  • Top critical review

Good on paper - not so much IRL - but good customer support

I wanted to like these headphones. Unfortunately, as mentioned in other review, after a few months, the left ear stopped functioning. Also, suddenly, they (well, "it", I guess, since only the right ear worked) started capturing bluetooth audio from my phone even when stowed in their charging case. That is super irritating and resulted in randomly lost phone calls until I finally figured it out and "forgot" the device in my iOS Bluetooth settings. While they worked, the audio was fine, battery life was good. The pass through audio mode is atrocious. It just picks up the loudest, highest frequency noises and passes them to your ears. That feature looks good on paper, but, not so much. Also, without a way to turn them on or off, without putting them in the charging case, it was awkward to transition away from using them. I had to keep the case handy to easily disconnect from the phone. Tap gestures are bit clunky. You have to learn to tap them just hard enough and the right number of times to get the desired function. Update: I reached out to JLabs Warranty Support. They asked for proof of destruction of the headphones (it sort of hurts to smash them up), and once provided, they gave me a store credit on their online store. Legit commitment to customer satisfaction. I added a star in recognition of the good support.

  • Good in general, however there are some design issues

These are fine for normal dry use. What I mean is that if you workout with them, and your hair gets wet, the sweat will interfere with your earbuds and cause various undesirable issues like raising the sound level to the max, or making one earbud acts as a speaker (then you hear the sounds around you amplified). My other challenge too is the fir, not sure if it is because of the weight but they sometimes don’t stay in and fall off. Fine in an indoor gym, trickier on a trail for example. One good thing is that one of the foam things to adjust to your ear canal is a memory foam and it tends to stay better in your ear. I had issues with battery charge not holding on one side but my husband cleaned the contacts and that solved it. Some people complained that the sound could not be cranked up enough for their listening style but I’d say that is for the better to protect your hearing. And it is loud enough for me who has a slight earring loss already. Overall happy with them but will not replace with the same model once they wear out.

  • KIND OF HEAVY, BATTERY LIFE SHORT

I switched to these from a similar [yet cheaper] wired bluetooth headset in hopes of a better sounding, lightweight wireless device. Not so much though. These are heavier and more uncomfortable than the wired ones and the battery life is shorter by far. Yes there are three different sound settings, but it defaults to the standard one each time they're turned off, so you have to cycle through the choices and change them back again and again. I had hoped the weight would be balanced by the ear hooks, but [at least for my ears] they rest on my ear instead of the hook, making them uncomfortable. Sound quality is fair, but volume level is low. I have to turn it way up about double to get the same volume level as either my wired or over-the-ear bluetooth headsets. Yes the charging case is nice and all, but overall somewhat disappointing for the price.

  • Great features, lightweight, and compact storing/charging case.

The features are easy to use and the sound quality with 1 or both ears is great. I bought this same item during March 2020 as the Stay-at-home orders were announced and just really loved the ears. Sadly, I lost the ears last month, October 2021, and I wanted the same product. I now have the replacement with 2020 update.

  • Comfortable and effective, with some glitches

the Good: Connect easily and easy to use, stay well on the ears & non invasive. the Bad: Sound occasionally disappears for a brief moment on on side at a time (like 1-3 times and hour, for less than a second). Sometimes, when you speak, you can hear yourself in the earbuds - very annoying. Volume control doesn`t let you go high enough, so speech on some youtube videos for example, is hard to hear

  • Good option for Runners in particular

Second pair of these. The right one stopped working after two years of farily frequent use. Use them primarily for running and really like the Be Aware feature that lets background noise (like cars) in.

  • JLab Wireless- Great Sound and Lightweight

These JLab Earbuds are amazing. The sound quality is great and they are very portable and easy to charge. The nicest part is that they will stay in your ears, unlike others that may fall out during workouts and exercise.

  • Good to go JLab JBuds AirSport

Second pair of the JLab JBuds AirSport in three years and they work well for my needs. I use them mostly for running and they do the trick. They are not super loud as some other brands out there, but for the price these are right on time.

  • Great sound for a great price.

The sound and functionality of these sport earbuds are very good. The low price makes them near untouchable in comparison to competitors. I have been a Sony earphones user forever. The Jbuds quality in sound is less then the Sony but still sound very good and the cost is a third less. The battery life is impressive. I am very pleased with my purchase.
