A Literal Taste of History
We loved watching the Public Television series "Downton Abbey". As a drama it held our interests throughout the series. But my thing is history; this time period is so fascinating, so many things were going on. Borders re-established, empires fell, or drastically reduced, and the world had to recover from the "Great War". It was a trying time. The cookbook is just excellent. Downton Abbey fans would like this book of recipes featuring many UK specialties. There are photos from the series as well. I do cook but I really love to read cookbooks.
