A Great Film
A film that had a low profile when it was originally released and so met with low audiences. Maybe because, at that time, there was no big name to pull people in. Now they're a who's who of Hollywood. It has become an all-time favourite of mine. Ed Harris, Barbara Hershey, Scott Glenn, Sam Shepard, Dennis Quaide, Jeff Goldblum and many others, tell the story of people who had the Right Stuff to break the sound barrier and begin the USA's NASA quest to put man into space.

The Right Stuff is always best.
Its the best non-documentary story telling of the development of the NASA Astronaut program I have seen. The writing, acting and direction totally carried me with them throughout its 184 minute running time and ensures it a permanent place in my library.
