  • New old stock, it's perfect, and a total deal. Very happy customer. Would buy from seller again.

Some people are keen to upgrade the OS every chance they get. IT professionals will tell you that's really not that smart. The reason, you tend to lose links to scanners and printers, apps you use all the time, etc. Call me old-fashioned but I prefer to use an OS at least two versions older than the current one available. When you work with the Beta versions, you become the person who tries it out and reports all the glitches to Apple. I'd rather work with something more stable. This unit is a brand new old stock 2015 they probably ordered to use as a back up in the event one of the computers in their lab needed to be sent out for repairs. I bought two and they were just like brand new in the box. I have both of them set up now and they're working perfectly. I cannot update them past the Monterey 12.7.6 OS they are using, but that just means the computer will not bother me with nag screens about updating the software when I'm working on a tight deadline and just need to get my work done. Stability is very good.

  • Excellent value

I got mine for dirt cheap, $80 including the cord. All I had to invest in was the wireless keyboard and mouse. That cost me another $20. The Internet runs just fine. The only thing I can’t do is install apps, but I am a bit old-school anyway, so to me this feels like getting a $2000 computer for less than $100.
