I used this kit to re-wrap a set of Vanc...
I used this kit to re-wrap a set of Vance and Hines 21301 Quiet baffles. I don t think this kit was intended for those baffles but I was able to make it work by removing the outer layer of fiberglass cloth and using just the fiberglass mat. I also had to trim it to fit and there was more than enough to wrap 2 baffles with one kit. The mat in this kit is 3/8 thick. I believe the baffles came originally with 1/4 thick mat. The 3/8 worked though by compressing it while wrapping it with packing tape. I highly recommend wrapping it with mechanics wire to hold the glass against the baffle after the tape burns away. I tried the quiet baffles without the glass wrap and then with it and I feel that the Big shots sound much better with the fiberglass wrap. I also felt that the standard baffles although ok on the freeway, are just too loud for riding around town.
