    necessary evil

    This was a quick and satisfactory solution to boogering up the leading edge of my road glide fender. It's a shame we have to pay that premium for a self adhesive piece of plastic trim. Cheaper than a paint job!

    Fit issues

    I have purchased many Kuryakyn products in the past, and they have always been of the highest quality. This product does not "measure" up. The contour of the Chrome Fender Tip does not match the contour of my stock Harley fender. When it contacts in the center, the outside ends were about 1/8" away from the fender. I used small c-clamps during the curing process, but after curing the edges are still about 1/16" away. Looks good from a distance.

    Cover Up.

    I have a minor damage on my HD RoadKing and they don't make it anymore... the decorative piece is enough to cover the damage and fit just right and perfect for cover up project. Also a good fender cover for someone who doesn't want the old traditional looks! Although is a plastic piece but it's made with good plastic.
