This tire compound is mad sticky, it has great gripping power when the road is either wet or dry. Maintains impressive traction at almost any lean angle you will get with your cruiser. But, it's soft, and it wears down quickly. My first impression when I received this tire was that it looked like a sport bike tire, sized for a cruiser. It improved the feel of the road and gave me peg scraping confidence in the curves. I got my first set in the March, ran them all summer on my daily ride (one up on a Honda Shadow) through almost all weather. I was a few clicks past 10K miles by Biketoberfest. By then the middle of the tread face was worm down to the base, but the sides still had thick chicken strips of deep tread left on them. I think this is more a combination result of the cruiser like my Shadow not being able to lean as far as a sporty like, say a CBR. Weight distribution is shifted more toward the back of the machine, and, the Shadow is about 30% heavier than the CBR, which chews up rubber right down the center. (That's my story an I'm sticking to it...) I thought I could get to November (The traditional start of winter storage season), But I blew it out a week before Halloween. My cheap a$$ fault. But, at least I found out exactly how far I could push a $100 tire. I did the math, and it came out to about 1 penny per mile (not including mounting and a new tube). When I consider the performance advantages to my ride, I had no problem with that price. Even if I replace them every year. I bought a replacement rear tire and mounted it in December. I'm ready to ride as soon as the heavy spring rain washes the leftover traction grit from the road. If 1 cent per mile fits your budget, I suggest you try out a set. But be ready to replace them promptly.

  • Seems like a good tire

I can't write a full review on this tire, because after 2 hrs of riding the motorcycle it got into an accident. Hit some heavy loose gravel around a sharp corner. Anyways the tire seems good quality, handled well up to that point. Deep tread on it. I would order another, seems like a good bargain tire.
