    windscreen replacement not as easy as it looks

    Windscreen is slightly larger and has more area to deflect the wind, was initially easy to install but the slots at the bottom of the windscreen were off by about 1/4" on one side, making it hard to install easily. All OK otherwise, was able to assemble it.

    my 2005 goldwing has its original wind shield- over the years it had become scratched,etc-- the other night i riding and man what a mess-- did not relize screen was that bad-- anyway awhile back i started researching my new wind shield-- rave reviews about this item, how it made the wind different-- i rode today-- hey if you want an easy install this is the one-- i had one problem -- looking at the front-- the left hole did not match up-- about a 1/4 " to the right-- i did some wiggling and got it to mount up-- real hard to move move up and down-- i did one thing that works great- i used the soft side of velcro instead of the "rubberized" tape-- much better fit-- now the screen looks great and it is claimed that it is 2" taller-- it is taller but the angle of the screen take away from the height that i need-- advertised to help my bride out with wind, not really-- did not help much if any-- not the product is good and clear and i do not have that flimsey wind shield any more , some people are crazy about it-- well i am not-- to do what i wanted i should have just invested in a taller stock screen-- did not reduce the wind noise-- good luck -- now just because i am not just going nuts does not mean that the screen is bad-- with the screen all the up did not reduce wind-- but man it is better than what i had--

    Very happy but a bit confused

    Very happy with the speed it came 3 days looks very good, although I thought I was getting one with the vet it just has a vent hole. I have to order the vent separately. I thought for 200 some dollars the vet would come with it. So I will rate four stars not five thank you

    This windscreen fit my 2004 GL1800 perfectly,

    It took about 45 minutes for the replacement, and I had no issues at all. It looks beautiful on my bike. The only thing I would have liked to see different, is it would be nice if it came with a thin plastic on it to help keep it clean whlie installing, and would be peeled off after it was installed.

    best windshield out there.

    Best windshield by far, I have now have 2 Goldwings, and just added the V-stream to this bike also, I love that it moves the wind from the side of your face to your shoulder, so now it's like nothing more than a breath of wind around you.
