Manufactured to exact measurements to meet or exceed oem specification Tempered steel wire housing with an inner nylon sleeve for long life & smooth operation Cables are individually packed in a poly sleeve with color coded header cards
It works but isn't the best length (as in a several inches too long for our 1999 XR 200). What we found is that the cable must rest in its most natural curvature while routing up the forks and over to the front brake lever. Unfortunately, this means (due to its slight excessive length), had to be zip-tied as it actually routes from brake hub arm --> up the forks --> around near the CLUTCH handle and then back the BRAKE Lever. We found that if we try to pull it any closer or tighter, at least to get the approximate 8" loop from flopping under the clutch lever (the part of the cable that's too long), then the cable no longer moves in the Sleeve very well.
Otherwise, very happy to find a semi-affordable replacement. Due to its length and lack of movement if slightly bound-up, I would expect the price maybe could be lower and/or the quality could be a bit higher.

I recall a day when Tools and Parts were always more readily available back when many folks used to do their own service. But now-a-days, this is increasingly becoming more difficult. meh
