first time replacing my 24 year old bikes clutch friction plates
On removal of the old friction plates I measured the thickness with a micrometer and compared them to the new EBC's and found them to be the same. So the clutch must have been slipping because of weak springs, old age and even possibly the wrong oil. That is I heard somewhere that I wasn't supposed to use synthetic oil but semi-synthetic is OK. I'm not sure if that is true or not. I also threw in some new springs. Now my old bike with only 37,000 km's launches like it did when I first bought it new. Thank you EBC.
