    Voltage Regulator works very well to maintain voltage and charge under changing loads I used to TEST this time. The charge rate and voltage was so stable that at first I thought I wasn't actually putting a real load on the battery, but I was. Seems much better than the original even when it was working OK, although in recent months the original did fail after 41 years of use. Fitting this larger one was a little tricky, but no biggy.
