Excellent Product but read my WARNING!
WARNING This product is designed for wooden drums! I purchased to use on my Vistalites! I was told DIRECTLY from a Ludwig Engineer in Monroe North Carolina it is not designed to be used on Ludwig Vistalites at all and will void any warranty. THIS HAS NOT BEEN TESTED ON VISTALITES! DO NOT USE ON LUDWIG VISTALITES! The shell on the kick and or tom could suffer a fatal crack! I will use this on my wooden drums!

Solid piece of gear
I'm a fan of the ATLAS mounts--I've used them on a previous kit--so I decided to try the Arch with a couple of refurbs of old Ludwig kits. I was told by the owner of a smaller drum shop with big online presence (located in the North East) that this item would fit on a 28" bass drum (I don't think he bothered to verify this). It actually does not fit a 28. Regardless, I was able to use it on another kit in which I use a 24" bass drum. The Arch fits great. It maxes out at 26". For most people this will not be an issue. Fit issues aside, this mounting system is incredibly solid. Once tightened down, the attached drum is not going anywhere. The rail plus the ball arm gives the mount an excellent range of adjustment.
