Easy to get a great sound.
I love pro audio gear, but I'm not the brightest bulb on the tree, so learning science is not my thing. After hearing about the Focusrite ISA's history, I was compelled to do a little research. I was drawn in by the simplicity. All the heavy-lifting is under the hood. You really don't have to do much to get a great (albeit subtle) sound. When I received it, I tested it out with a few crappy mics, and was totally blown away. In one instance, it completely changed the character of an SM58 to something amazing like a high-end shotgun mic or something. If you have a nice large-diaphragm condenser, it shines it up like a tea-tray. It gave the AKG414 a presence that is so easy to mix; vox cut through like a knife through warm butter. The price for two of these magical preamps is unbeatable. Trust me, you won't regret buying it.

I bought this when I got rid up f my Api channel, this pre amp is clean and has a ton of gain. Definitely worth buying esiecially for the fact you get two per amps in one. Sounds great on vocals.
