Terrific deal for what I considered to be the best digital voice recorder in its price range..
Excellent purchase for a new 822, the best of all the digital voice recorder in its price range. I was able to buy this product new and unused. I don't like buying used items because you never know why they was up for sale, or what problems it may have that you don't discover until it's too late to return it. That's exactly what happened to me with 2 of the last few voice recorders I bought used. They may or may not have been covered by warranty, but that still means having to go thru all the hassle of getting thru the whole return process, which can be much more complicated than it seems. You have to start off by calling the manufacturer to see if it's still under their warranty, then take it from there. It is no simple little slamdunk procedure by any means. Now I've learned my lesson. Those recorders are still in my drawer, and I believe the cost to get them repaired is now greater than their value. Much easier to just watch for a good deal on a new one and buy it. But that's me. I have so little free time that the opportunity costs of me chasing down a repair on one of my voice recorders is a little too much. The time I save by skipping all that and replacing it with the new one is well worth it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
