Best option to upgrade an older laptop and give it a few more years of life (always along with an SSD installation)
Revived an older laptop (along with an hdd replacement with an ssd). Installation difficulty depends on the laptop model. It's tricky enough on the Aspire 5738G but way too easy for the 7736G. This cpu along with the x9100 are the best solutions for this socket (x9100 is said to include more calculations but the t9900 has a lower watt consumption like the rest of the T line, both work at the same clock speed). All in all a good upgrade!!!

This second hand cpu has put a lot more "get up and go" into the old family laptop. ( the old cpu had 1 mb L2 cashe this one has 6 mb and it shows, very happy camper.
