The iPad mini 2 hits the sweet spot between really big smartphone and regular-sized tablet. It's a beautifully designed piece of technology. The speakers are surprisingly gutsy considering the small size of the tablet. I purchased this unit for my pre-kindergarten-aged son, and he absolutely loves it. With the addition of a good-quality rubberised case purchased at Officeworks, I'm hoping it lasts him a good few years. Everything about this purchase was satisfying. The tablet was in excellent condition on arrival, near-perfect. The battery life as far as I can tell is close to what it would be with a brand-new unit.
