The power routing through the frog on this turnout is excellent for short wheelbase locos that might otherwise stall on plastic frogs. It does complicate wiring, make sure to read up before buying and using. It's nothing difficult, just different from normal plastic frog turnouts. Great for slow speed operations as on switching layouts.
This turnout fit on my layout planning template, where no other turnout would fit, so I could follow the plan that I am using.
At this point, the issue is that it is code 75 rail, and my mainline is code 83 rail. I cannot find transition rail joiners for this situation, so I am investigating the best way to join these two different rail sizes.
