They sound great, the build quality is excellent, they really feel solid. They are a bit heavy and stiff, I haven't used them as much because of this but I assume that if I used them more they would loosen up a bit. You will most likely need an AMP / DAC to drive them, I read a lot of reviews of people saying they are only 80 ohms so your PC should be able to power them sufficiently, but I found that this was not the case, they were too quiet, so I had to order an AMP / DAC, which worked. If you are looking to get a good pair of headphones, these are a good option.

Crystal clear highs, extended bass deep into the 20hz range, reasonable isolation of outside noise. The 80ohm version sounds similar to the 250ohm model but works better with a phone. Comfortable and at the price you'll get many years (my last pair lasted 14 years) of use with replacement ear pads easy to find.

Sturdy, made-in-Germany construction (also have a pair of DT880s last a decade+ without issue). Comfy. Detailed and moderately boosted bass (<100hz), scooped and slightly lacking mids, bright and clear treble. Pretty wide sounding for a closed headphone. Love electronica and shiny studio production, not so good for filthier, sludgier rock/metal where they can turn muddy (DT880's do it better). "Portable", but you'll still want an amp between your phone to sound best/get enough volume for quiet recordings (check out the Hidisz Sonata DAC USB cable for <$40 USD). Overall great value for $200 AUD.

Working from home I wanted a set that would be comfortable over long periods. The 770s are incredible. Crisp treble and brilliant mids with a nice punch base. Base isn't as deep as the M50x but everything is so much clearer. Paired with a budget DAC these are definitely worth the hype behind them!

I use these for practice and creating new bass tracks for my band. I need to hear everything. They do the job. Comfortable with an essential ten foot straight cable they are good for sitting or standing. I would purchase them again in a heartbeat.

Comfortable and great sounding. Previously owned ATH-M50 and these are slightly more comfortable (better headband adjustment) and just as good for long listening sessions. I initially compared the two for sound profiles and the M50 had slightly more bass while the DT770 had some higher treble. I've noticed less of the treble after a week, whether that is me having gotten used to them or a break-in period, I'm not sure.

Excellent headphones for the price, comfortable and detailed with decent sound stage, crisp vocals and noise isolation. Only niggle is that the audio cable is hard wired

Very Comfortable with brilliant sound. Does need a headphone amp with small appliances.

Great for tracking guitar parts. They’re comfortable to wear for long periods and they cancel out a lot of outside sound. Sound is nice and clear.
