Better than original
The airsprings are the biggest problem with the Mercedes gl. I finally decided to approach them as I would the breaks or tires- something that wears out and needs to intermittently be replaced. You dont need a Mercedes mechanic to change them out. Much better deal to buy yourself and have any mechanic replace. These are the best quality, better than original. Arnott air springs
If you can...spend the little extra cash and use these air springs ....the cheapo low buck ones wont last long....the low dollar ones are great for if you fix up that old car to unload it to someone else and pass the issue to them......but if you wanna keep your mercedes air suspension working and not wanna get butt raped by the dealership.....then use these ....and replace in pairs as well....well worth changing them at home instead of dealership ...save literally a thousand or so bucks changing them yourself....if you can jack up a car and turn a 10 mm wrench you can change one of these out in 15 min....dont put the factory oem junk overpriced ones back on ..duh! Have the same problem in 30k miles or less with them leaking...the arnott ones are 100% way better....and please follow install directions they send!!!!....do not remove the air inlet fitting like the you tube videos show...it will void warrenty and leak....ive changed many of these out and not one problem has arisen in 5 years of changing out my first one on an audi a8L....good luck if you buy a 38.00 one and expect it to last....you get what you pay for ....buy the best !!!
