No strength in major threads that hold the unit together
Only started the car 10 times, perfect mesh but it has already stripped the bolts that hold the boss to the motor part of the starter, junk

High Quality Product
I found the Proform hi/comp starter motor very easy to fit to my boat's inboard 327. Once fitted, It turned the engine over with ease, even though it hadn't been started in approximately 6 months (Heaps of torque). I tried several other starters with no success. They tended to burn out their motor or have solenoid failure after only a few days boating. Excellent High Quality Product. I'm very pleased with it, thank you. Cheers, Rob.
