Best 1st and 2nd degree burn treatment I've ever used.
I know it's not technically the approved indication for spray opsite, bu my wife and I have used this product for years to treat minor 1st and 2nd degree burns. 1) It's extremely cooling. 2) It isolates the wound from bacteria. 3) It forms a second skin which not only protects the wound from further damage, but makes it virtually pain-free. 4) It prevents or significantly reduces long term scarring. My wife had a coke can sized 2nd degree burn on her calf frim a motorcycle exhaust pipe and we immediately went to a pharmacy to get spray opsite and applied three thin coats after each coat dried and reapplied as needed. It protected the wound for over 10 days and she had virtually no scarring despite how bad and large the wound was. Try to get rid of hair around the wound before use if possible. Great product to have on hand.

This is effective spray for surgical wounds and cuts and scrapes. It doesn’t sting like spray bandage, but leaves a white residue (I used it on my scalp after surgery)
