Product Information

The Cold War saga of Naked Snake brings its complicated Kojima plot to 3DS gamers with stereoscopic 3D action in Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater. As in the PS2 original, players guide Snake on a mission through dense Soviet jungles to halt the development of a frightening nuclear tank and track down a scientist who wishes to defect. To do this, gamers must remain hidden, eat exotic wildlife, and engage in theatrical boss battles. Special 3DS features include a persistent map/inventory screen, motion controls, and the ability to snap photos to create custom camouflage.

    Amazing game!

    If your a hardcore gamer that plays the 3ds, this game is a must buy. Amazing gameplay, compelling storyline with long cutscences, and difficulty adjusted to your liking. Even if your not a stealth gamer, I still believe you should try this game out.

    Lots of mixed reviews of this version. But I'm here to say this is the best version of Snake eater that I have played so far 2020. To my surprise you can crouch walk in this version. I love 3d. I'm using a New 3ds xl and what a blast. The item/weapon/codec selection in touch screen are perfect. Excellent control type selection built for all types of players.     Give and take

    The 3ds version of mgs 3 has better graphics, allows you to crouch walk and shoot while moving. While these are great improvements, there are framerate issues in certain areas and the pressure sensitivity of the ps2 version is gone, making the subtle aspects if taking cover null. It is definitely worth the price and makes playing mgs 3 in bed a better experience that portable ops and peace walker on a psp. Obviously the ps vita version is the definitive handheld version, but the 3ds versions offers its own advantages that make it a worthwhile addition to your collection, especially if you dont own a ps vita.
