Exact shock collars as in original package

Do not allow blades to deploy. Test before using for hunting.
I tested these shock collars with Rage Crossbow broadheads and the blades did not deploy. I was shooting thru 6" of rigid insulation foam with a layered foam target but behind. My crossbow is a Barnett Whitetail Hunter STR that shoots my bolts at over 350fps with Headhunter(300gr, bolts/arrows) and a 125grain Rage crossbow mechanical. I tried shooting thru cardboard and they did not deploy. I contacted Rage and was told something to the effect that my target was too hard? Out of curiosity I shot the same setup and used the black shock collars that I use with my Rage Xtreme 125gr. mechanicals in place of the heavy duty, crossbow shock collars. The blades stayed in place and deployed as they should. In an attempt to use the x-tra crossbow shock collars I purchased, I modified them by cutting the notches down to the base. I will test them, but I believe that will make them work properly. I don't know if Rage tested these shock collars, but it would appear that this product does not work properly. I installed these shock collars as the instructions detailed. Maybe just a bad batch. TEST BEFORE USING IF YOU WANT TO AVOID WOUNDING GAME.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Wrong size collars for my broadheads, need gold colored collars.
They are the wrong size for my broadheads, ad said they would fit any of the rear deploying crossbow broadheads, but they do not. I need the gold colored shock collars. When I try to install these collars they snap before they seat. Good for correct broadheads.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Direct replacement for damaged collars.
. Read the instructions, there is a small arrow on the collar, BETWEEN the indents, that a blade is supposed to be lined up with, By not doing that the blades may not deploy properly or may open prematurely. These work well if installed properly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
