What can I say? Anything related to The Beatles, u can't go wrong. They arrived in America on Feburary 7 1964, the country saw them on Ed Sullivan 2 days later and our world has never been the same! To put it simple, their music is beautiful. The world is still talking about them more than 50 years! Yeah, yeah yeah!

For some reason, even from reputable dealers, some of these boxes have been counterfeited. Be careful! Check for possible return policies and refunds. I bought mine in the shrink wrap! NONE of the CD's were even in the correct cover! There were strings of dried glued, like rubber cement all over inside the box. From the outside, you couldn't tell.

This really is a great collection of Beatles LP's. If you're looking for a basic set of Fab 4 albums like you used to have when you were a preteen, teenager and young adult, this is it! This set contains all of the Capitol Records albums, and includes one Apple LP that was also issued by Capitol, "Hey Jude (The Beatles Again)". Each CD is labeled with the individual Capitol (or Apple) rainbow record label in a clear sleeve, includes an exact replica paper inner sleeve and all of that is housed in a cover that looks exactly like the original album cover, right down to every little detail! The LP catalog numbers indicate a stereo designation, but, I believe that each disc contains all songs in stereo AND mono!! There is also an informative booklet with some awesome pictures, and all of this is contained in a box that is extremely well built! The box is constructed of very thick, sturdy cardboard and cover slicks and is sturdy enough to last a long, long time after lots of handling. The going price is usually between $120-$160, but, I've found it below or right at $100 on Ebay. 14 CD's at that price? GO GET ONE, or TWO!! Good luck!Read full review
On February 7, 1964, The Beatles arrived at New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport, greeted by scores of screaming, swooning fans who rushed the gate to catch a glimpse of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr as they took their first steps on American soil. Two nights later, on Sunday, February 9, 73 million viewers in the U.S. and millions more in Canada tuned in to CBS to watch The Beatles make their American television debut on ‘The Ed Sullivan Show.’ In what remains one of the world’s top-viewed television events of all time, The Beatles performed five songs on the live broadcast and ‘Beatlemania,’ already in full, feverish bloom in The Beatles’ native U.K., was unleashed with blissful fervor across America and around the world. The British Invasion had begun. The new 13 CD box set THE U.S. ALBUMS commemorates the 50th anniversary of these history-making events, spanning 1964’s MEET THE BEATLES! to 1970’s HEY JUDE. The Beatles’ U.S. albums differed from the band’s U.K. albums in a variety of ways, including different track lists, song mixes, album titles, and art. The box set includes the following titles: (Disc 1) MEET THE BEATLES!, (Disc 2) THE BEATLES’ SECOND ALBUM, (Disc 3) A HARD DAY’S NIGHT [ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK], (Disc 4) SOMETHING NEW, (Disc 5) THE BEATLES’ STORY, (Disc 6) BEATLES ’65, (Disc 7) THE EARLY BEATLES, (Disc 8) BEATLES VI, (Disc 9) HELP! [ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK] , (Disc 10) RUBBER SOUL, (Disc 11) YESTERDAY AND TODAY, (Disc 12) REVOLVER, (Disc 13) HEY JUDE. These albums were originally issued between 1964 and 1970 by Capitol Records, Apple Records, and United Artists in the United States. These new releases seek to replicate the unique listening experience heard by Americans at the time by preserving the sequences, timings, and artwork found on the albums. Capitol’s engineers in the 1960s took great care to produce what they believed to be the best possible sound for the playback equipment in use at that time. Due to the limitations of the record players of the day, engineers often compressed the sound by raising the volume of the softer passages and lowering the volume for the louder parts of the songs. They also reduced the bass frequencies since too much bass could cause the record to skip. In some cases, reverb was added to the tracks to make them sound more “American.” The CDs are packaged in miniature vinyl sleeves that faithfully recreate the original U.S. LP releases down to the finest detail, including the inner sleeves. 11 original U.S. albums presented in both mono and stereo. Hey Jude and The Beatles’ Story are in stereo only. A Hard Day’s Night [Original Motion Picture Soundtrack], The Beatles’ Story, Yesterday And Today, Hey Jude and the U.S. version of Revolver are presented on CD for the first time. Yesterday And Today features the original album cover of The Beatles posing with raw meat and baby dolls. The package also comes with a collectible sticker of the subsequent Yesterday And Today cover art. Also included is a 64-page booklet which includes a new essay examining the U.S. albums and their historical significance, written by American author and television executive Bill Flanagan.Read full review

Be very carful when buying this. I know there are counterfeits out there. See youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qad8d-Mp3KE on what it should look like. The one I got was nothing like it. The box was sealed but when I opened it, The CD's were not in the correct album Cover. They were all mixed up. Each album should have been individually wrapped inside the Box. They were not. A lot of the album covers and inserts were coming apart. The United Artists had a Capitol sleeve. The “Hey Jude” album did not come with the correct insert. The album covers appear to be glossy. These were not. The Yesterday and Today Cover to stick on was not good quality - actually poor. It also was on yellow backing paper that stuck out on both sides. not like a card in the video. There was supposed to be foam inside the Box to protect the albums from moving around. That was not in there. The inside of the box had spots all over it. looks like glue spots coming thru paper or it looks like mold would. There is also a forum on this topic too. http://forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/have-fakes-started-to-turn-up-of-the-beatles-u-s-albums-box-set-or-am-i-just-paranoid.408442/ The set I got was very cheaply made. No way this came from Capitol with this many mistakes or cheapness. This is the second FAKE Beatle box set I purchased here on the Bay. Fake,Faux,Knock Off,= FRAUD. DON'T BUY OFF THIS DEALER. Probably being the biggest fan of The Beatles alive, my review is nothing short of extraordinary. These four lads from Liverpool were classic in every way - their suits and ties, their classic "first impression" made on Ed Sullivan - including the white stage with Ringo elevated, and their instruments - Pauls Hofner violin bass guitar, John's Rickenbacker rhythm guitar, George's Gretsch lead guitar and Ringo's Ludwig jazz drum kit. Folks - it has been done, and never will be done THAT CLASSIC again! This box set takes you from the exciting opening of "It Won't Be Long" and "I Saw Her Standing There" to the stellar dreamscape of John Lennon on "This Boy," George on "Don't Bother Me," Paul on "Here, There and Everywhere," and Ringo doing his country-rocking "lonely-man" thing with "Act Naturally." It is 13 albums that were released in America only - from "Meet The Beatles" in 1964 to "Hey Jude or "The Beatles Again" in 1970. This is where the mold was broken, but the product would last four-ever! They are the only group to have sold over one billion records, and they were gifted enough to make every song a "greatest hit." They are the only group ever to hold the top five spots on Billboard (during the week of April 4, 1964) with "Can't Buy Me Love," "Twist and Shout," "She Loves You," "I Want To Hold Your Hand," and "Please Please Me" - in that exact order. So, folks, you won't be disappointed in any way possible with The Beatles. They always were, and always will be, the prototype for the revolution of popular music They are, after all, The Beatles. You've got your ticket - now enjoy the ride! Dr. Paul A. Racioppi, Jr., Brooklyn, New York, Tuesday, May 17, 2016.Read full review

Though not perfect, regarding some "cuts" used, but still nice to hear them in the "correct" U.S. order!
