Reasonable value and function
Does all the manual says, sort of. Print in manual is too small and explanations/reasons absolutely minimal if actually present. Not many functions are intuitive. On several occasions in a couple of months the unit has simply ceased responding to the remote. The only remedy on each occasion has been to power the unit off for a period - one of these was with the intention of returning the unit. Grrrr. Still cannot find program details, only names. Takes a long time to populate the EPG after turning the unit on. This seems strange considering the unit must be in a standby mode all the time. All menu options/displays are rather clunky. All necessary cables and handset seem reasonable quality. Quality of picture sent to TV is fine. Easily located all local TV and radio signals. Large NETFLIX button is an irritation but presumably manufacturer gets something out of it. All in all reasonable value for money and functions mostly as expected. Great to use
This is a great product if you need a free to air box combined with other features. We have an older TV that does not have it's own tuner. It is very straight forward to set up and get going. As with all new appliances the functions take time to get used to, but it is all very simple after a little while. It can connect you to a range of apps and we are taking advantage of the way it can be used with Netflix as well. We have used a range of different cheaper tuners and after a few of those decided to try a higher price option with more features and are very happy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Misleading Apps
The advertising and manual suggested Apps can be used and added to. Once installed and conversing with Humax support I got the following response "Our unit is not Apple or Android base, our unit is based on Linux.
