    Great

Great for the price. I live in a small house, so I think it would be ideal for that or if you're not going to travel too far with your wifi devices. They say you should place this modem in the middle of your house for best results and to avoid mirrors and speakers. You'd be surprised how hard that can be. I tried a few positions and finally found a really good spot. It's definitely not the best router, but still very good, especially if you don't want to spend a lot of money. I use the Optus 4G modem in this and it works automatically. This router can be plugged into any outlet and have your 4G modem plugged in, so you don't even need it near a computer or phone if you don't want. This is also supposed to be for adsl connection, but that's going to be nonexistent for everyone shortly due to nbn. I only bought this for my 4G modem.

  • TP Link MR3420 3G/4G Router

My new router is a Version 3.0, and is a big improvement on my old V 1.2. It worked straight away "out of the box" using an Optus 4G dongle. TP Link need to update their hardware and software compatibility info (on the box and on the web) to do this excellent product justice.

  • Great budget WiFi router for 3G/4G USB sticks

While this router also works with cable modems, my purpose was to share an Optus 4G USB stick and turn it into an easy hotspot. Simple configuration and it pretty much worked first go once I specified the "connect" setting for the USB stick. Wi-Fi performance is fine as long as you only need 802.11N at 2.4GHz.

  • Solid router and versatile

Either as a WAN port router or as a 3G/4G router or both with it's failover function this unit works flawlessly. Recommended.

  • Quite adequate

I have used this model for over 2 years and am pleased with it, I have it connected with ethernet to main pc then wifi to other pc's tablets and phones as required. I have used a variety of broadband dongles/wingles without any issues, I am not running original firmware and have flashed it with ROOter firmware which was basically designed for this router a number of years ago.
