The painting cards are randomized and placed face down in a stack. Matching size value cards are also mixed and placed face down in a stack. Each player receives an equal sum of money and one painting with value card which are clipped together so that all players can see the painting and only the owning player can see the value.

So I found out about this obscure (ish) game..
...through an email I recieved. And how this was never really popular. However not only did it have educational value it also caused some people to recognize valuable art they owned, inherited or had found for really cheap. And when I say valuable I mean quite valuable-as in millions for a handful from what I read. So naturally I wanted to find this game out of sheer curiousity and see if I could use it for teaching seeing as how Im an educator. I never planned on enjoying the game. I didnt expect my kids to love it so much they beg to play it again and again. But thats exactly whats happened. The only issue was we didnt get a full set. A long treasure hunt finally came to an end!
