This reel does have wear & rash on the edges as shown. Cleaned & checked internally - great shape found. Original handle is in great shape (removed early on for a power handle). Serial number is 621753 - the 4 screw side cover makes it pre-1967-68; 500XXX are known to be ~1965 so that narrows production into a couple of years.
