    Worked for 2 weeks.

    I purchased this part because NEW should be better than rebuilt. This alternator (TYC) worked for 2 weeks and went out. Two separate independent tests both confirm the alternator is bad. The labor to replace alternator on a PT Cruiser is expensive, as it is very labor intensive. I am out $300 on labor to change this alternator twice in 2 weeks! Not happy at all.
