STAND-VAD3 is a VESA adapter bracket that attaches to your existing monitor stand, giving your monitor more height adjustable flexibility. This adapter will give your monitor an added 6.25" range of height adjustment (3.25" up and 3" down from center). The tool-less adjustment feature allows you to adjust the height of your monitor by hand in an instant. To reset the height, simply raise the monitor to the highest point and then place at your desired height. Padding exists between the adapter and monitor to help prevent scuffs and scratching. .

hieght adjustment fix.
The problem I had with my dual monitor stand was: I had two 24" monitors that were different makes. the way they mounted on the arms caused on monitor to be higher than the other. no matter how you adjusted the arms, the monitors would not line up. Had the holes been 1" lower it would have worked great.
Very disappointed in the placement of the holes. There should be a set above and below where they sit now for more universal compatibility. I wanted to raise up my LG (24M47H) monitor to match the eMachines monitor but the bracket completely blocked the cable panel on the back of the LG. I ended up using the bracket to lower my eMachines monitor to match the height of the LG and set the entire dual stand on books. Had the holes been 1" lower it would have worked great. Great solution to a minor issue with a monitor mounted on an articulated arm.
I have a 27 inch widescreen monitor mounted on an adjustable monitor arm. This setup worked well, except that due to the placement of the VESA holes towards the top of the monitor, I couldn't get it quite as high as I'd like. I came across this adapter and it turned out to be a perfect solution. It allows me to raise the monitor plenty to get it exactly at the height I want. One caveat is that if your monitor is curved in back, you will need to use spacers for the VESA mounting. I was already using these for the monitor arm mounting, so I just directly attached the adapted to the monitor arm and then used the spacers to connect the adapter to the monitor. I'm very pleased with this product.

Works ok
This should work find if you just need to raise or lower your monitor permanetly, but it sticks ocasionally and it has too much play in it. Your monitor can rock back and forth. It still gets the job done and saved me a lot of money over buying a gass spring powered monitor arm. All in all it was a good buy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great for wall mounts to allow adjusting height
I ordered it because my wall mount couldn't be mounted high enough to reach a comfortable position, it was about 6 cm too low. This worked great, unlike some other static solutions, this allows the monitor to easily moved up and down a bit. There are some things to keep in mind though: - it isn't obvious from the picture but the mount is mounted in the middle, so you can only move monitor half way up and half way down about 10cm (you cannot move up monitor the entire height of mount eg. 20cm up) - given that large plate goes on the back of the monitor it might be a problem to mount it on some monitors that have connectors just below VESA mountVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
