  • "Prime" is just that.

Brand new quality at almost half off. The new G2 version that's much faster, more memory, etc. How can you beat that? As a long time HP user, RPN and RPL (HP-50g) are ingrained. The Prime is a whole 'nuther animal but unbelievably fast, powerful and downright fun. Well worth climbing the learning curve. Bravo! Will get heavy use in my work designing advanced avionics and other products.

  • Much better suited for 2021 than Texas Instrument's current lineup.

I can only compare this to the common Texas Instrument calculators that I've used in the past such as the TI-82, 83, & 84 (among different sub-models), and this is leagues beyond them. This is a closer competitor to the TI-Nspire, but after watching comparison videos between the two general models, the HP Prime (G2) is much closer to something anyone should expect from a calculator in 2021. The computations for moderate to large equations are significantly quicker with the HP Prime and the touch screen controls are surprisingly intuitive. Overall, this has been a great purchase to get me through some of the mid-level math courses online and at university.

  • Very powerful for all levels

This is similar to the Ti-NspireCAS but more user friendly and just as powerful. It also has a nice touchscreen that the Nspire doesn't have. This is recommended for all levels. I saved lots of money buying it refurbished and it was in mint condition.

  • Powerful computing and command set

Does Calculus work within less than a second that my HP 50g takes 65 seconds or longer to accomplish.
