Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Kayaks
I set it up in garage roof, easy to use and set up. Recommend it as it leaves floor space. My one is fitted over my cub camper trailer. So I can lower my Kayac onto camper or take out camper with out having to move kayac

I should have looked closer at the pictures - it hangs quite a long way from the ceiling. That’s head height for where I put it. Agree with previous reviews - I bought stronger screws after I sheared one off. And still quite heavy to lift. I am going to work on shortening the straps and changing mount to stop hitting my head

Pulley system and rope of good quality, but better to use different mounting screws as 1 sheared off during installation far too easily. You may need to buy different straps or shorten the ones provided for smaller kayaks or to get it further off the floor but the existing ones would be great for wider hulls.

Whilst the pulley and rope lock systems are good, the splayed bracket is somewhat flimsy and bends easily. I would not risk hanging 45kg from these brackets and have substituted with a stronger metal bracket.

The ad says clearly 60kilo weight limit but the instructions say 100 pound which is about 45 kilos. Even with the pulley system it has it is still very heavy to lift to the full height. Something is wrong in the instructions or setup because it should at least halve the weight. In retrospect I should have withheld the positive feedback I gave until after I installed it. I was happy with the speed of postage etc but would not recommend it for a 45 kilo kayak like mine!
