Great fitness tracker!
I had the old flex for 3 years. I was excited to upgrade to the Alta HR. It is about the same size and weight and it has so many awesome features. I love that it has the HR monitor, I can read my steps on my wrist, get call and text notifications and I can use it and wear it like a watch, it is great! It has an average battery life. It lasts me 4 days before needing charged. The only reason why I am giving 4 out of 5 stars is I accidentally smacked my wrist on a door frame and it scratched the surface of the screen. It is only noticeable to me I am sure but I felt bad that I only have had it for a few weeks and already scratched it. The flex was a bit more forgiving for my clumsy moments. Overall I am very pleased with the product.

I like my FitBit, it's everything I was looking for in a tracker.
I like my FitBit Alta Hr, I needed to keep track of my heart rate, and it does that. Also I wanted a slim FitBit, and it is that too. Some features I haven't used yet, for example, I don't wear it when I'm sleeping. So I can't comment on that.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good basic fitness tracker
Purchased this to replace the same model because the screen had conked out after about three years. That seems to be the lifespan, as this is my wife's third fitbit and each has only lasted a few years. She wanted the same model because she has several bands that won't work on the newest fitbits. Also, the newer fitbits seem to be getting larger with each upgrade It would be great if fitbit kept one small model that didn't try to be an iwatch. Love my new Fitbit alta hr!
I bought this to replace my Fitbit flex that wouldn't charge anymore after 4 years. I love it! Not only does it track my heart rate, but it charts resting rate and better charting of sleep with averages to compare to plus so much more. LOVE my Fitbit Alta, just not sure of its steps/distance calculation
Love my new Fitbit Alta HR! Nicer styling, lightweight, quickly updates, battery seems to last longer than the old Fitbit Charge, and it even captures my heart rate. I'm just not sure of its accuracy on steps and distance. I tend to wear the Fitbit and have my iPhone with me on long walks.
