About this product

Product Information

The Night Stalker (1972): Las Vegas is a town where the weird and wonderful is considered 'the norm'. However, when former top newspaper reporter, Carl Kolchak (Darren McGavin), meets with police aversion while covering the brutal murder of a showgirl, his curiosity is stirred. Quickly thereafter there is a series of murders, apparently perpetrated by the same killer. Again police refuse to divulge any facts about this possible 'serial killer'; consequently Kolchak gets the details on his own and begins to put the deathly pieces of the puzzle together. However, the police and his own editor, Vincenzo (Simon Oakland), make every effort to conceal what Kolchak has learned. The Night Strangler (1973): Kolchak is back and he's on the trail of another killer with a penchant for young women, and he's positive there's another vampire lurking the streets. Truth can sometimes be more sinister than fiction and the answer lies in the ruins of Old Seattle, the derelict, fire-shattered ghost town below the city's streets...

  • A common place Joe Bloe versus a 70 year old vampire. It's a fang in cheek plus schocks and scares.

it was the first of its kind. The highest rating TV movie of the time, and deservedly so. Vampire in the present day. Written by the great Richard Matheson. It's a bit chauvinistic in places. Apart from that it's great. Great keygrip eye view of the vampire's eyes in one scene.
