In 2007, Plant and Alison Krauss released 'Raising Sand', one of the most acclaimed albums of the 21st Century. It was an unlikely, mesmerizing pairing of one of rock's greatest frontmen with one of country music's finest and most honoured artists, to form one of the most effortless-sounding duos in modern popular music. Produced by the legendary T Bone Burnett, 'Raising Sand' entered the Billboard 200 at Number Two and was certified platinum. It won six Grammy awards, including both Album and Record of the Year.

Additional InformationThe 59-year-old icon and his junior partner share a love of folk forms and a gift for interpretation.
ROBERT PLANT IS A VERY VERSATILE SINGER, WHO LIKES TO DO ALL GENRES OF MUSIC. "PLEASE READ THE LETTER" IS THE STANDOUT SONG, AND HAS A COUNTRY FEEL TO IT. SOME OF THE SONGS ARE A BIT SPOOKY, ESPECIALLY WHEN ALISON IS SINGING THEM.
I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE FILM CLIP TO "FORTUNE TELLER" AS IT HAS A FUNNY STORY. ALL THE SONGS TELL A STORY, AND THEY MAKE YOU THINK OF FARAWAY PLACES, IN ANOTHER TIME. I LIKE TO LISTEN TO THE CD WHEN I AM ON MY EXERCISE BIKE,
