Don't let a slipping clutch on your V Star 1100 sideline you. Yamaha has a complete XVS 1100 OEM starter clutch assembly 1999-2009 (part number 99999-03908-00) ready for your repair. The starter damper assembly and starter clutch replace the original idle gears and shaft. It's supported by needle bearings on each end.
