to clarify other review, this is a 6 qt stick
it's direct replacement for the dohc engines and i believe the 01-04 gt's, but there was a tsb put out that the gt's should run 6qt instead of the stock 5qts. that's where this stick comes in, to replace the other one with this shorter one, so u can fill to proper 6qts.

Not quite OEM.
The dipstick sent is shorter than the original, even though claiming it is a match. The "stick" material is best described as a braided metal wire maybe, just should be longer by as much as 1 inch. I can only speak for the Mustang, because that is what I bought it for.
