Worth the work.
It's a grate locker .I installed on my 1996 dodge Dakota. FYI don't use the spacers and re use your carrier bolt..took me 2 days to figure that out..good luck..8.25 axle 27 spline..c-clip..

Great locker!
This thing rocks! My 97 Wrangler with a D35 and 4.56 gears really digs better now! Make sure you know which carrier you have. The side gears have two different sizes, this being the smaller one.
