An incredible guide for anyone wanting to survive an actual emergency!
As an Amateur Radio Operator involved in Emergency Service, I found that this author constantly taught me the information that I had not gotten in my training from various groups. A must for anyone involved in Public Safety.

A good read not for the faint of heart
As a retired first responder (FDNY 23 yrs) I found this to be a spot on explaination of what people go through during the darkest time of their life. Now, as an instructor in fire and life safety, it's a useful tool that validates my teachings. It's a look deep inside people and how we differ in reaction to a bad situation.
