I bought this book based of the cover reference to the New Jersey Mafia, stating that it was a story about the lesser known New Jersey based mob families. Aside from an occasional mention of NJ at the beginning and end of a chapter, I found nothing that related to the activity of the mob within the state of New Jersey. This book is about the FBI listening in on mob conversations taking place in New York City. Not a great read, very little of a story to tell, mostly about small time gangsters ordinary everyday lives talking about nothing of interest. In my opinion the reference to New Jersey and the Soprano's were desperate attempts to promote and sell a mediocre book.
