This book has the potential to change your life, but you have to be willing to realize that improving yourself takes work. Don't expect to just read the book and be set with good self-esteem for life. While the book does provide every possible tool necessary for increasing your self-esteem, it's still up to you to do the work. I first read this book about 3 years ago when I was lazy and just expected some gimmicks to boost up my confidence real quick - I disliked it. But I've heard it recommended a lot since, so I read it again this year. I was really willing to put in the work and do anything necessary to improve yourself. And I have to say, this book is absolutely amazing. I don't think I've ever had as many "epiphanies" reading any other book ever. This book has the potential to totally change your life, daily actions, and how you view things forever. It will tell you the importance your self-esteem (you learn that self-esteem doesn't just affect your social life, but your success and happiness in general) and why it's essential that you develop a healthy self-esteem. It also explains how it's affected by what we do and affects what we do, and provides you with exercises and examples to improve it. Now this book is not the easiest read, but if you're willing to put in some effort, it's definitely one of the best investments you'll ever make.Read full review
