Great adventure Movie!
I seen this movie when I was in high school in 1960 along with the Time Machine with Rod Taylor. That was back in the days of double features. This was a great time to grow up in, fun times in the 1960's and late 1950's. I especially liked Pat Boone playing the piano and singing to Diane Baker. You know a little romance, a lot of fun. The movie was very exciting and lots of adventure and all the actors in the movie were very entertaining, some of my favorites. A good movie.
This is the better of the two official bluray release for this title from Twilight. They released an earlier version which was essentially the old DVD transfer duped onto bluray format. This version is the actual cleaned up and looks very sharp. I used to see this every so often on local TV where I lived, and always enjoyed it for a weekend's viewing. A good product. Worth it if it was a favorite from your childhood, classic big-budget sci-fi with well known cast.
An excellent BluRay remastering of this big-budget sci-fi film that used to show on weekend TV until Turner and the like found they could make more money off classics than syndicating them. It's too bad that it was a limited edition and hence the price is high. Worth it for someone who enjoyed it as a kid, maybe not so much if you didn't.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

One of the greatest movies of all time.
At 73, this is still my favorite movie of all time after first seeing it as a kid at the Fox Theater movie palace in San Francisco just prior to the city idiots tearing it down. This Blue Ray disc is perfect in sight and sound, especially as projected on my outdoor 150” screen with 2000 watts of spectacular sound.
