  • Innovative and great design

This is a well designed product and works well as a portable TV. To get the maximum benefit connect it to an Apple TV or Roku and leave it on HDMI. Also, you can connect the HDMI unit to an external speaker for better sound. The app for the projector is hit or miss. By using an Apple TV and external speaker you never need to use the Sony App. You control everything with the Siri remote. The projector has auto focus and brightness and inbuilt Apple TV apps can replace the poster and slideshow features. OK, why this over the LG portable ultra short throws? The Sony uses SXRD technology which is superior picture quality to the DLP in the LG. The build quality of the Sony is much nicer and the brightness is only slightly lower in the Sony, but image is much sharper. I gave it 5 stars because I got projector + stand for $525 shipped. The stand is a key feature and paying full price is crazy!

  • Underrated cool projector

I'm surprised they discontinued this. And that there are not comparable ones to this out there. It seems to be ahead of its time with the portability, wireless unit, very short throw, and good compatibility.
