Great G Shock
This is my second GA1000. The last one lasted almost 4 years on the initial batteries. When I had the batteries changed the guy broke. Compass works great and does not have to recalibrate leaving you unsure if it is correct. Much better than the Pathfinder or Protrek for durability but you don't get all the features offered in those watches. If you can read a map you don't need the altitude function and if you are worried about the weather look up! I would buy another if it came with solar charge, that is the only draw back, but hey, after 4 years or so they get pretty beat up anyway. The nite light is really killer look like a black light at night. Maybe mine lasted so long on the stock batteries is because I really didn't use that function often as the luminous hands work all night.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

comfortable watch with lots of features
I really like this watch! I wear this watch a lot and I am glad I purchased it. The watch sets the time automatically per time zone. The glow in the dark feature is really nice. This is a nice looking, lightweight watch with many features! I plan to keep this watch and wear it for many years.
