Author Biography
Dr. Patricia Coleman Churchill is a spiritual life coach, business coach, poet, playwright, novelist, blogger and motivational speaker. She is retired from a long career in public education, having served in positions from classroom teacher to superintendent of schools. She is the mother of two married daughters and the grandmother of nine children. She enjoys world travel, gardening, singing, the arts, physical fitness and family activities. Dr. Churchill was born into a family of educators and ministers, and her life reflects that heritage. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Talladega College, a historically Black institution in Alabama; her Master of Arts degree from the University of Maryland in College Park, and her Master of Education and Doctor of Education degrees from Harvard University in Massachusetts. She is an active member of Unity of Richmond, a Christ centered church that welcomes all people and respects all faiths. She is experienced in television, having had her own show while serving as Superintendent of Richmond Public Schools in Virginia.
