Author Biography
Phil Rowlands is a retired head teacher from Wales with a passion for writing. His first book, 'A Christmas Carol Revisited', was an adaptation of Charles Dickens classic ghost story 'A Christmas Carol'. The book was featured on BBC Radio Wales and received rave reviews. The story set in contemporary Manhattan was adapted by Phil for a staged reading performed by the Entertainment Committee of the City Bar Association of New York. The event was held in the City Bar Association Building Manhattan on the 19th December, 2012 and proved an unqualified success. Phil is also joint editor of, and contributor to Eto, a new bi-annual fiction magazine for Welsh Writers. Co-editors Ceri Shaw and Gaabriel Becket reside in Portland, Oregon. Phil also publishes a weekly blog designed to help aspiring writers at kindleauthors.blogspot.com Phil is currently writing 'Billy and the Pit of Shadows' a fantasy adventure for children of all ages.
