This product is now out of production so get one while you can if you want to turn a pc into a home theatre pc settop box product. It will allow you to turn the pc on and off from the small remote ( a Media Center remote can also be used and dont cost much ) and control any program that can use key presses to perform its funtions. It and its Imon software is very reliable under 32 or 64 bit Windows 7 or 8.1 ( I havent tried Windows 10 but I suspect there will be no problem ) It needs a 3.5 external bay or a cheap 5.25 adapter with space for a floppy face - these can be got very cheap ( about £2 ) from Ebay. The board hooks into the large thick cable that goes from the psu to the motherboard and also to a usb port, so you do need to open up the pc to install it. It has a rather bright but attractive blue led that Antec tends to use to show its working and is always on even when the pc is off - this pulsates when the receiver receives remote signals. If you still use Windows Media Center it really is the best solution to completing a HTPC, far better than some kind of keyboard. As I said alas this product is now out of production but I was able to buy one from a company in the USA for very little money. Get one while you can as there can not be many available now.Read full review
