Don't buy!
I used this sealant for replacement of air pressure gauge, NPT pipe threads. After 1 week allowed for cure, the sealed thread leaked when 120 PSI air was applied. We kneaded the tube to mix. It was a recent manufacture sealant. Threads were carefully cleaned with isopropyl alcohol and a wire brush. After 10 days the exposed part of sealant had not cured. Easy to apply, sets up quick but can be repositioned if needed.
I use this on the cylinder head studs when assembling Ford flathead engines. Since 44 out of the 48 studs enter the water jackets. Excellent OEM type sealant
This has worked well for manual transmission, coolant, and various systems where the sealing of fastener threads is required. Applied to threads before insertion, we have not had issues with leaks nor removing fasteners after material cures. As a matter of fact, we've never had a problem with this product.
