  • Rain cover, Light weight, small pack size, - Great

For a day trek, hike, I have always carried both a fleece and a rain jacket, and even overpants in my pack, Just in Case! When I saw this, the thought box clicked in, I could just take a fleece in the jacket, and this which is very lightweight, much less to carry than the jacket/pants. For those days when it might be a great day, but just a small chance of a shower, this would be great. I also think it will be a handy emergency cover (so lightweight and small pack size) to pop in the backpack on any sort of trip, day or overnight. I just think for the size and weight it is just a really handy back-up item to carry on a trek/hike, it might even make the difference if caught out overnight for any reason. Sea to Summit gear is fit for purpose and this is no different, great quality. They do make a heavier duty/weight one, 70D I believe, and that might be a good option for trekking in all day rain, I would imagine there would be good ventilation and give you good protection. Anyway, this a Great lightweight and small pack item, worth it for me, thanks
